Life Saving Rapid Response Medical Services for Rohingya Refugees

The project will establish three (3) rapid response medical teams who are readied and able to deploy for small to large scale disasters within the Rohingya settlements. Medical staff will be hired by World Concern, trained, and prepared to deploy as rapid response mobile medical teams. One ambulance provided by a partner will support the teams with others on standby as needed. Medical staff will be trained in critical areas for emergency response such as mass casualty, first aid and stabilization, respiratory infections, flood and landslide safety, and emergency communications. Support nutrition by identifying areas with gaps in nutrition services for the refugees.
