Economic Development, Conflict Management, and Safe Schools
This project will operate in the Pasco Mining Complex, implementing activities that promote the health, safety and quality of life for the mining community. The project will address the following key outcomes: 1. Citizenship Training, Building capacity of school leaders, local public management and leadership in citizen participation, participatory budgeting and public investment projects, 2. Basic Service Management and Maintenance - Establishing Sanitation Services Administration Boards (JASS in Spanish) to manage the maintenance of basic sanitation and electricity systems, 3. Improved Productive Value Chains - Increase productivity, technology and knowledge in post-harvest management, support in marketing and access to markets.
