Emergency Distribution to Communities affected by Floods in Kasese, Uganda

This project has the goal to ensure those affected by flooding in Kasese district in Uganda have adequate food and non-food relief items. The project will provide food items (food basket) to 1200 Families which will last for one month. There will also be a distribution of NFIs such as jerrycans, blankets, nets and hand washing items. In addition to the immediate food security needs, this project will also address long term food security issues through a distribution of seeds to be planted in gardens that were destroyed in the floods. This project will directly benefit 1200 people, is directly implemented by LWR-IMA Uganda and is funded by World of Good.
