Seeds for the Main Season in South Sudan

The cumulative effects of flooding and associated population displacements, localized insecurity, the economic crisis, and the prolonged years of asset depletion continue to drive the high levels of acute food insecurity in the country. The flood affected locations are the most affected with high levels of food insecurity. The objective of this project is to increase the resilience of livelihoods to threats and crises. World Concern aims to increase the access to emergency livelihood inputs by food insecure and displaced households to maintain food production. This will be carried out with emergency livelihood support provided to the most food insecure and vulnerable households by strengthening coping mechanisms and skills in agricultural production.
