Emergency Humanitarian Assistance for Flood Victims

This project in Bangladesh supports and assists poor and marginalized people to overcome the effects of flooding that have caused damage and loss and helps them to recover their normal life while supporting the protection of children’s rights. Activities include health and hygiene support to protect targeted families from COVID-19, water borne illnesses, and other flood-related WASH issues. Vegetable seeds will be distributed to generate income and meet the daily nutrition needs of the families. The project also provides assistance for household tube-well and latrine repairing to ensure pure drinking water and a clean and healthy environment. A distribution of tree saplings among the targeted families will help to repair and protect the environment. The project also distributes nutritious food and education materials for children to fulfil their education needs.
