Nutrition Voucher Distribution in Aweil

World Concern will increase the access to emergency livelihood inputs by food insecure and displaced households to maintain food production. Beneficiaries will have improved access to increased and diversified local food production through a voucher system. Targeted vulnerable households will have increased access to knowledge and awareness to improve their food consumption and nutrition practices. Fishermen, milk producers and vegetable growers will produce commodities. Nutrition vouchers can be used to access fish, milk and vegetables to supplement household diets. Vouchers will also be given to access small stock to diversify diets and earn income from the sale of small stock products. The project will strengthen knowledge and share information on good nutrition practices and food preparation.
