World Concern’s project supports severely food insecure households with vegetable production and fishing inputs during the dry planting season. Lead farmers establish demonstration plots and train small groups of project beneficiaries on improved agronomic practices. World Concern trains beneficiaries on nutrition enhancing options, including cooking demonstrations. The project also includes the formation and training of fisherfolk in general fishing techniques, net braiding/maintenance, fish processing and preservation.
